After 14 years of award winning success, Atomic is now expanding its Bent Chetler line with the addition of three new models in 2023 Atomic Bent family. Designed by legendary freeskier and artist, Chris Benchetler, and tested and developed by Atomic freeski athletes. The new lineup will consist of five models that offer “playful progression from freeride to freestyle” while still maintaining its place as a competent all mountain ski. The legendary 120 and recently added 100 remain mostly unchanged. While the all new Bent 85, 90, and 110, round off the completion of the ultimate freeride quiver.

The Bent Family Lineup

Atomic Bent 120

Award winning design and build since 2008. The Atomic Bent Chetler is the ultimate pillow bashing, freeride powder ski. The Bent 120 is Chris Benchetler’s signature ski and big brother of the Bent ski family. The top sheet, base, shape and construction were designed by Chris Bentchetler himself and has been refined over the years. The latest iteration features the ultra tough Dura Cap Sidewall construction, revolutionary HRZN Tech that provides more surface area in the tip and tail for better float and plows through tough crud and chop with ease. The lightweight woodcore allows for mobility and playfulness while the carbon backbone stringers provide stiffness for better stability and control. The Atomic Powder Rocker (30/40/30) offer the perfect amount tip and tail rocker while 40% camber underfoot allows for perfect powder turns and pop in the deep stuff. The Atomic Bent 120 is the perfect ski for the aggressive powder hungry skier, that is looking to add a powder specific freeride ski to their arsenal.

Atomic Bent 110

A new addition to the Bent family, the 110 is the long awaited ski that bridges the gap between the 120 and 100. Not quite the waist deep powder ski of it’s big brother but a fully capable freeride or possible touring ski that can handle its own in the backcountry. Like the Bent 120 and 100. The Bent 110 is designed with HRZN Tech Tip and Tail for a playful performance in powder and maneuverability through tougher crud and chop. The light weight woodcore keeps this ski light and responsive. Making it quick and easy when maneuvering through trees and around other obstacles. Unlike the 120, the Bent 110 does not have the carbon stringers for added stiffness. Making the 110 a great choice for skiers looking for a ski with freestyle type flex without sacrificing its backcountry capabilities.

Atomic Bent 100

Aside from the new top sheet design the Bent 100 is nearly identical to the 2022 model. This all-mountain ski was the first slimmed-down version of the award-winning signature 120 model to be introduced a few years ago. When atomic decided to add a scaled down version of the 120 they did it with one thing in mind. They wanted to create a “go anywhere, do everything ski” and they did exactly that. With a waist width of 100mm underfoot this advanced to expert level all mountain/freeride ski feels at home in bounds and out. It’s directional shape and Dura Cap sidewall command power and control while carving corduroy or slashing fresh snow. While the poplar wood core keeps things light and fun. Combine that with the HRZN Tech in the tip and tail for increased surface area and you have the recipe for a playful powder ski. These skis truly are one of the most versatile on the market. With a weight of 1700G (at 180) these skis are a perfect option for skiers who occasionally skin the backcountry in search of untracked snow or side country explorers who like to ski tree lines and their favorite resort. In Atomics words "Atomic Bent Chetler 100 is a go-everywhere, do-everything all-mountain ski. From powder to piste this is the ski of choice for any day. Every day."

The Bent 90’s construction is nearly identical to the 100 just in a narrower form. Same light woodcore and HRZN Tech Tip & Tail that make this ski a breeze to roll edge to edge and maneuver in the park, trees or even moguls.
