These are our picks for the five best Ski towns in America, where partying is a main factor when selection a destination. At all locations you can expect to find equal parts skiing, nightlife, and off mountain activities. This makes it great for skiers and non-skiers alike, offering up great skiing as well as the option to take in the town on an off day. We kept our rental picks close to the mountain for groups of 6 to 15+. Some are ski on ski off, and all are selected with fun in mind. Killington gets its nickname “Beast of the East” for a reason. With over 1,900 skiable acres and a 3,050 foot vertical, it is truly a beast of a mountain. Killington not only boasts some of the best skiing on the east coast, it also features some of the best après ski and nightlife that Northeast ski towns have to offer. With plenty of off mountain activities, from beer tastings at Long Trail Brewery, to snowmobile tours on old ski trails, Killington is perfect for groups looking to go hard from first chair to last call!

South Lake Tahoe offers it all: prime west coast skiing at Heavenly, unmatched views of Lake Tahoe, some of the best après in the USA at Unbuckle, over seven breweries and tasting rooms downtown, and high-end casinos on the Nevada side. South Lake Tahoe is perfect for groups looking for equal parts skiing and partying. There is no shortage of activities for non-skiers, and endless trails for the hardcore rippers.

From the T Bar patio, to one of the over 30 bars and restaurants on Main Street, you'll find that no matter where you are in Breck, you are always just steps away from the next party. Whether your group wants to relax slope side on one of Breck's many ski up bars, or go all out at one of the clubs downtown, Breckenridge has a spot for you. Not to mention the over 155 trails and 2,300+ skiable acres of some of the best skiing Colorado has to offer. Breckenridge is perfect for groups looking for world-class skiing, but don't want to spend Aspen coin.

Jackson Hole is a destination with the hardcore skiers in mind. Jackson Hole has arguably the most difficult and technical inbounds skiing in the United States. With over half its terrain being rated Expert or Advanced, this mountain is not for the blue cruising type. Not only does “J” Hole offer some the most advanced skiing in the US, it has one of the most vibrant nightlife scenes as well. Catch some live country music at the iconic Million Dollar Cowboy bar, or grab a cocktail in Teton Village. No matter what your preference, “J” Hole has a bar for you.

Snowmass is known for world-class Colorado skiing. With over 4,400 feet of vertical and 3,300 skiable acres, you can go days without hitting the same run twice. Snowmass has quickly become one of the best mountains for après. Relax and soak in the sun outside of Fat Tire's Ranger Outpost if you're a beer drinker, or head down to Venga Venga for Tequila and Tacos. If and when you find the need to get out of your ski boots, you can take the free shuttle down the mountain to downtown Aspen and head to some of the best restaurants and bars in the country! Aspen Snowmass is perfect for groups looking to go all out and are willing to spend a little extra for a truly unforgettable experience.
